General Notes: Anthony Jefferson Moore/Harper was the son of Dutch Moore and Juanita Lusk Moore. He was born December 22, 1957, at Holmes County Community Hospital in Lexington, Mississippi. Dutch and Juanita divorced when Anthony was approximately three years old. Dutch wanted to be a father to Anthony but Juanita would not share him with Dutch or the Moore family. Dutch gave up after several years of never getting his son for a weekend. On December 11, 1963, when Anthony was six years old, Luther Harper adopted him. Luther was married to Juanita at that time. Dutch knew nothing of the adoption and did not sign the adoption papers. Anthony found out who his birth father was at a party when he was a teenager. He came to Lexington to see his dad and meet his stepmother and two half-brothers, Charles and Ronald.
Anthony's education was at Indianola Academy, Indianola, Mississippi. He was gifted in music and won a music scholarship. He received an associate of arts diploma from Mississippi Delta Community College in Moorhead, Mississippi. He also attended Itawamba Junior College in Fulton, Mississippi. There he received an associate of arts diploma in electronics and became a certified electrician.
On Thursday, March 28, 1996, an obituary of Anthony's death appeared in The Clarion Ledger newspaper. Dutch's brother, Melvin, was told of Anthony's death by one of his friends at the local coffee shop. Melvin called Dutch to inform him that Anthony had been killed in a truck wreck on Colorado 140 one mile south of Redmesa in La Plata County, Colorado. Anthony was in a company truck and had worked extremely long hours prior to his death. He was a longtime former resident of the Greenwood area and in 1990 had moved to Farmington, New Mexico.
After Anthony's death Dutch found out that there was a wife and three small children. They all live in Bloomfield, New Mexico. Dutch and Carolyn stayed in touch with Tammy for a period of time after Anthony's death. Tammy mentioned that when her mother died she might move closer to them. She is a certified electrician also. Before she met Anthony she already had one teenage son, Jacob Martin Shanafelt. Carolyn is not sure if Anthony and Tammy were legally married or if theirs was a common law marriage.

91 M i. Corey Frederick Lerch was born on May 25, 1990 in Heidelberg, Germany.
General Notes: Corey Frederick Lerch is the older son of Susan Marshall and Victor Lerch. He was born in the U.S. Army Hospital in Heidelberg, Germany, at a whopping nine pounds and five ounces. He lived in Heidelberg for eighteen months and was just starting to speak in both English and German (he stayed with a German lady for daycare) when his family moved back to the United States to Ripon, Wisconsin.
For the first two years in Raleigh, Susan had Au Pairs from Europe to help out with daycare, since Vic's schedule varied widely from week to week. From October 1993 until October 1994, they had Anna Marie Taylor from Great Britain. Then from October 1994 until October 1995, Birgit Angerer came from Vienna, Austria, to improve her English. The family is still in touch with both girls. Birgit sends Advent calendars every year to all three kids. After that Vic moved from Emergency Room medicine to an office practice, so his hours became more regular and they started having the children stay with a neighbor, Carol Knight, who has years of daycare and foster care experience and has offered the kids a wonderful experience with lots of creative crafts, hours of reading and outdoor play.
In Raleigh, Corey attended Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church preschool for one year (1994-95) before starting kindergarten in August 1995. He attended Millbrook Elementary School for one year and was then accepted into the voluntary year-round program at Green Elementary when it was first established as a year-round program. In the fall of 2001, he entered middle school at Cary Academy which is a private school started by the founders of SAS Institute and located right next to his mother's job. Thanks to his good grades and standardized testing results, he is helping out with his tuition by receiving a scholarship offered by SAS to children of employees. He is presently in seventh grade.
Corey plays soccer, baseball, and basketball through programs at the nearby YMCA and is learning to play ice hockey. At home he likes to read Hardy Boys and Star Wars books, play Nintendo, GameBoy, and computer games, and scooter or roller-blade outside. In the summer he loves to swim, and goes to a local pool several times each week.
Corey would like to be a professional soccer player when he grows up. Since he is very good in math and logical problem-solving, he agrees that it is more likely and realistic that he will become an engineer.
92 F ii. Erin Rae Lerch was born on Jan 21, 1993 in Ripon, Wisconson.
General Notes: Erin Rae Lerch is the daughter of Susan Marshall and Victor Lerch. She was born in Ripon, Wisconsin. In September of that year her family moved to Raleigh, North Carolina.
Erin attended Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church daycare for two years. Since kindergarten she has attended Green Year-Round School in Raleigh, North Carolina. She is presently in fourth grade.
She learned to read right along with her older brother and was reading Hardy Boys books by the time she started kindergarten. She has continued to read voraciously and usually has books “in progress” littered all around the house. Some of her favorites are the Boxcar Children, Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle, and the Harry Potter books. At school she's earned more points than any other child in their Accelerated Reading program. She also does well in her other subjects and has never gotten anything less than a “C” (which stands for “Commendable” and is the highest grade they can get until third grade), except for handwriting.
Erin likes going to the Little Gym and has played several seasons of soccer with the YMCA. She also likes roller-blading and scootering around the neighborhood. Even a collision with Corey that resulted in her getting about eighteen scrapes on her legs, arms, and face didn't dim her enthusiasm for her scooter. She also loves to swim in the summer. At home she likes to get out the big box of markers and draw pictures - about half of which are of rainbows, so that seems to be a favorite topic for her.
Erin loves potatoes in any form except mashed, and would happily live on French fries, roast potatoes, and chocolate chip cookies if her parents would allow it.
Erin thinks she would like to be an artist when she grows up.
93 M iii. Kyle Joseph Lerch was born on Oct 15, 1996 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
General Notes: Kyle Joseph Lerch is the younger son of Susan Marshall and Victor Lerch. He was born in the Rex Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina, and has always lived in Raleigh. He weighed a little over eight pounds at birth.
Unlike his brother and sister, Kyle walked earlier and was much more physically active and coordinated. He started going to the local Little Gym when he was around a year old and it is still the highlight of his week. He loves to swing on the parallel bars and do tumbling such as forward rolls and cartwheels. He is constantly moving, running, jumping, climbing and singing. He frequently performs “concerts” for his family. His favorite performer used to be Raffi, but due to the influence of his older brother and sister, he has recently switched to the Backstreet Boys. He also loves Roy Orbison. Kyle learned about Roy from a DVD owned by his daycare provider's husband, Ken, and now has his own copy of the DVD. He even strutted around the house one day wearing sunglasses and singing Only the Lonely pretending to be Roy.
He has not gone to preschool, but spent much of his time at home with his dad, or with a neighbor, Carol Knight. Carol has a lot of preschool and daycare experience, and has given him fantastic one-on-one care with lots of crafts, reading, and outdoor play. They frequently go out to the observation deck at the airport to watch the airplanes land and take off. He loves to watch any kind of machinery at work and knows the names of all the equipment. At the age of four and one-half, he started reading, and is getting better each day. His current favorites are the Mr. Men series of books, although he also loves the Arthur books, particularly Arthur's Underwear, which really tickles his funny bone.
In July 2001 Kyle started kindergarten at Green Year-Round Elementary School in Raleigh. He is presently in first grade there. During the 2001-2002 season, Kyle, his dad, and his brother and sister all became big fans of the Carolina Hurricanes hockey team as they almost won the Stanley Cup. Kyle now thinks he'll be a professional hockey player when he grows up, and is practicing by playing street hockey on his roller blades every chance he gets. He also learned to ski. With only three days of lessons, he could out ski anyone else in the family, except maybe his dad. His instructors wanted to keep him.

Roger married Janet Marie Simmons, daughter of John Simmons and Susan McAdams, on May 1, 1999 in Anderson, Madison Co., Indiana. Janet was born on Jul 17, 1969 in Anderson, Madison Co., Indiana.

While at Highland, Janet was a member of the tudent council, the Young Life Christian Club, and was chosen Who's Who Among High School Seniors. She participated in the Delco-Remy Co-op program during her senior year. She graduated on June 4, 1987.
After her graduation from high school, Janet attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta social sorority. Janet has had many job experiences. When she became old enough, she babysat to earn spending money. She worked as a paralegal for a law firm and as a sales representative for a liquor company. From the time she was in the eleventh grade of high school through her sophomore year of college, every summer and during spring and Christmas breaks, she worked at Prudential Securities. She served as a receptionist answering the phones, filing papers, assisting the cashier and anything else the brokers asked her to do. Primarily, she was on the phone giving stock quotes. She is presently a flight attendant with United Airlines. Her home base is Chicago, Illinois. She has traveled to almost every city in North America. San Francisco was her home base at one time and she spent a lot of time there. She moved back to Indiana in 1998.

Janet's hobbies are traveling, gardening, shopping and collecting Dept. 56 Villages with Jean. Janet, Roger and children live in Noblesville, Indiana.
94 F i. Kiley Marie Marshall was born on Jul 27, 2000 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
General Notes: Kiley Marie Marshall, daughter of Roger and Janet Marshall, was born in the St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She weighed eight pounds, eleven ounces, and was twenty-one inches long. What her parents remember most about Kiley at birth was that she had lots of dark hair and was the loudest baby in the nursery. Before Kiley reached her first birthday, she had developed quite a personality. She enjoyed being with other children and they adored her. She adapted well to adults, especially the ones who wore glasses, earrings and necklaces. Kiley loved pulling on those things.
The family dogs, Murphy and Lucky, are a source of joy for Kiley. Lucky waits patiently outside her bedroom door for Kiley to complete her nap so they can play together. Bath time is one of Kiley's favorite activities. She enjoys lying on her stomach in the bathtub splashing water everywhere. Another of her favorite activities is watching Mozart, Einstein, and Bach baby videos.
Kiley loves to go outside and have someone push her in her little car. She says, “Go riding” and that means for someone like Grandma or Pappy to take her outside and push her in her car.
At one time her vocabulary was limited to “no, dog, Daddy, and go riding.” She would tell her mommy, “No, no, no!” Now she is talking up a storm! It appears that Kiley will be a social bug - just like her mother. She helps her mother with many tasks and is even helping her do the housework. She takes the wet wipes and washes the windows. She helps her mom unload the dishwasher and the dryer. Her mom puts the clothes in the dryer. Kiley takes them out. She has begun throwing things into the garbage can. Most things Kiley throws into the garbage can aren't supposed to be thrown into the garbage can! Her parents must carefully check the can before putting the garbage out for pick-up. She has also started chasing both dogs. Now they run from her ASAP. Lucky still sleeps outside her door. Murphy could care less.
Kiley likes books, but doesn't want them read to her. She just likes looking at the pages. She enjoys helping her daddy water the flowers and the vegetable garden. When Preston was first born, Kiley didn't pay much attention to him. Now she tries to be a little mother to him. Her favorite new thing is swimming. When her parents took her to the beach, she loved the water. She has to be watched carefully as she will jump in whenever she sees water - even if no one is there to catch her. Her parents are planning to enroll her in swimming classes soon.
Kiley is starting to get an attitude about what she wears. Even though she is only two years old, she gets mad if her mom tries to put something on her that she doesn't like. She and her little brother play well together. She calls him PahTah and calls herself Kiki. Everyone else has begun to call them by those nicknames.
95 M ii. Preston Brooks Marshall was born on Sep 7, 2001 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
General Notes: Preston Brooks Marshall is the son of Roger and Janet Marshall. He was born in the Women's Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He arrived at 8:26 a.m., weighing in at eight pounds, five ounces, and measuring twenty and three-fourths inches in length.
Preston loves his bouncy seat and his swing. His favorite thing is for someone to talk to him. He is starting to smile and laugh out loud.
On his daddy's birthday, he presented his mommy with the best present she could ever receive. For the very first time, he slept through the entire night. He is starting to find his voice and let his likes and dislikes be known. He is getting into everything. His mother can't sweep when he is around because he crawls over to the cord and chews on it. He is definitely a Mommy's boy and his mommy loves that! He is at the age where he wants to see her all day.
He and Kiley both love Elmo. While their mother drinks her coffee and does the dishes, they will sit quietly for an hour watching Elmo videos.
